David Letterman got scooped on his SI Swimsuit cover announcement yesterday when a woman, who says she is in an office building across from the show, took a picture of the billboard of Irina Shaykwhen the white sheet dropped for the taping of the show.

The woman, Rana Wardlaw, just started tweeting this week and only has 42 followers.

But her tweet went on a ride around the world before the big unveil on Letterman.

Despite this, Sports Illustrated has managed to own this day once again with its incredible swimsuit franchise that they've done a good job at expanding.

There's so much content on SI.com today that you could literally spend a full day there.

Sports Illustrated's 2011 Cover Girl
Irina Shayk, the first Russian to grace the swimsuit cover of Sports Illustrated, talks to CNBC's Darren Rovell.

There's also an iPad app has 80 videos that are longer than two full length films and costs $6.99, the same price as the print issue.

Today, I interviewed Shayk on "Power Lunch."

She was really on top of her game.
