The NFL and the player's union are locked in a battle over the collective bargaining agreement that was supposed to end Friday morning at midnight - but was extended for another week.

Issues on the table include dividing up $9 billion in revenues, a rookie wage scale, medical treatment and pensions for players, as well as a possible 18-game season.
