British Rate Hike in May Highly Likely, Strategist Says

The Bank of England held interest rates steady today, and the British pound felt the effects.

But "consensus is rapidly gathering itself around the idea" that "May is the month" for a rate hike, said Kit Juckes, global head of foreign exchange strategy at Societe Generale.

Juckes expects an increase right around the time the bank releases its latest inflation report, he said. Take a listen, right here. ...
