CNBC Poll: Is The US Stock Market Rally Over?

The U.S. stock market looked well on its way to entering a third year of gains, when the unexpected brought that to a halt. Turmoil in the Middle East and a nuclear crisis in Japan created the kind of uncertainty that spooks investors.

Stocks are off their recent lows but still shy of their February highs. Some say it's just a correction or pause in the advance, which will continue on the back of an improving U.S. economy. Skeptics say rising energy prices (and other key commodities), as well as a host of other challenges, will hold back the market.
