As consumers and businesses alike embrace these devices, they have created a $1 trillion global market for computers, smartphones, and hundreds of other mobile products and services.
Competition is fierce among manufacturers, retailers, service providers, suppliers, and everyone else in the wireless technology world. Their fates depend on fickle tastes and changing desires of gadget users around the world, whose appetite for cool, new devices keeps growing and growing.
