Crazy Friday — Gallagher, Kate, and the Prom

I'm being told not to worry about the radiation headed to Los Angeles this weekend.

So I've decided to worry about other things.

First, Gallagher just had a watermelon dropped on his finances. The long-time comedian tells KABC-TV he doesn't draw the audiences he used to. He just had a heart attack. And now he's being foreclosed on.

So he's throwing a garage sale. Check out what treasures are up for grabs in a fire saleGallagher hopes will be "a smashing success".

I'm also worrying about Kate Middleton.

With so much going on in the world, we've been ignoring her.

We've forgotten to stay obsessed with the royal wedding.

Come on, people! Get your priorities straight!

Here's a little something you might want to buy to remind you of her at all times.

It's a Kate Middleton figurine. No, really.

Finally, I'm worried that two sets of parents have lost their minds.

A $13,997 Prom Dress

DressGoddess.com is selling an exclusive prom dress for $13,997.

The dress is so expensive because it allegedly contains $13,000 worth of diamonds hand sewn into the gown.

My biggest problem isn't the price (well, yes it is), but I'm concerned about the thigh high slit.

Appropriate for one's teenage daughter??

Apparently, yes!

The company says it's sold two.

You can, of course, get the dress without the diamonds for a mere $400, but it'll still have the thigh high slit.

And that worries me.
