Halftime: 4 Market Movers to Watch

Stocks fell on Tuesday amid high oil prices and continued conflict in Libya, and as investors took a breather from a three-day rally. In midday trading, the "Fast Money" traders found the following market movers noteworthy.

Pops (stocks that rose)

Molycorp (MCP) popped 10%: Shares of this rare earth metals producer surged after the CEO said the company's sales are going up. Brian Kelly, founder of Kanundrum Capital, called this one of his favorite stocks. He remains bullish on MCP.

Exelon (EXC) popped 1%: As concerns over nuclear power eased, shares of Exelon rose. Veracruz founder Steve Cortes said nuclear power isn't going anywhere, so he's long EXC.

Drops (stocks that fell)

Moody's (MCO) dropped 2.5%: The firm was downgraded to ‘equal-weight’ from ‘overweight’ at Evercore Partners. Its target remains at $33. Joe Terranova of Virtus Investment Partners recommended those long the stock to stick with MCO with a stop at $30 a share.

Walgreen (WAG) dropped 6%: The drugstore chain operator said its gross margins were little changed at 28.8 percent in the second quarter. Both Barclays and Citi had estimated gross margin would widen. Patty Edwards, chief investment officer at Trutina Financial, said the company is losing share to rival retailers Dollar Tree and Dollar General . For that reason, she would avoid WAG shares right now.

CALL TO THE FLOOR: VOLCANO

Fears of the impact from Japan's nuclear crisis have taken a toll on many companies' stocks, including Volcano.

The medical device maker gets about 30 percent of its revenue from Japan.

To learn more about how the country is being impacted, CNBC's Melissa Lee spoke with CEO Scott Huennekens. Watch the video to see the complete conversation.

CALL THE CLOSE

At the conclusion of Tuesday's program, the "Fast Money" traders shared what plays they plan to make.

Cortes would buy the Vix against the $20 level.

Edwards and Kelly recommend buying oil and selling discretionary stocks.

Terranova said it's still not time to buy tech stocks, even amidst this sell-off.
