Off the Charts
Sectors fall in and out of fashion all the time. Cramer looks at the charts and sees the energy and materials stocks beginning to outperform, which could go on for years.

Investors should avoid the banking and technology sectors, Cramer said Wednesday, adding he likes the energy and basic materials space better.

"Sectors fall in and out of favor all of time in the Wall Street fashion show and lately it seems like the stuff that’s in style has changed with the season," Cramer said. "Money managers don’t like all the same things they liked a month or two ago, so we need to figure out what’s in style now."

To better understand why some sectors work and others don't, Cramer went "Off the Charts" with John Roque, a highly regarded analyst on Wall Street. Watch the video to see the full report.
