Stocks traded higher Thursday morning despite a surprising drop in durable goods orders and worries that Portugal may need a bailout.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained more than 25 points a day after the Dow gained 67 points in light volume.

The diversified industrial company hit an all-time high Thursday morning.

The drugstore chain announced plans to buy Drugstore.com, an online health and personal products retailer, for $429 million.

Gamestop
The video game retailer reported a 10 percent increasein fourth quarter profit on strong holiday sales. Gamestop also issued a forecast ahead of the street's predictions for the first quarter.

The oil company was trading at highs not seen in more than two years.

Bank of America
The bank was downgraded to market perform from outperform at FBR Capital.

Talbots
The clothing retailer was up more than 20 percent in spite of missing first quarter sales estimates. the company did announce plans to revamp stores, however.
