Here's what's up on Thursday's Squawk on the Street:

--Two companies off the beaten path: Cal-Maine, a big egg producer, reports, plus the CEO of Innerworkings, a printing company.

--Also on the big show, a new survey from the good people at KPMG about where American manufacturers think the economy's going ... and if they're hiring. Here's a hint, it's a pretty optimistic survey.

--We're also following two kind of smelly stocks. They don't necessarily smell bad, but there's a smell there for sure — International Flavors and Fragrances, this stock's on a real run, and Elizabeth Arden, maker of make-up and perfume.

--Plus the big question for wsites these days: can The New York Times make a run at making some money if they start charging for access to their website? They're trying, and that goes into effect Monday. We'll examine the impact on stocks like Gannett and The Washington Post. That's also the focus of our Street Poll: Would you pay for online news? Share your opinion, and join us at 9am live from the New York Stock Exchange - don't miss a minute of it.
