Lightning Round: VMware, Yum! Brands, Annaly Capital Management and More

VMware : While VMware is a "pure play" on cloud computing, Cramer would rather own EMC because it's cheaper and represents better value.

Yum! Brands : Cramer is bullish on this restaurant chain operator. He praised CEO David C. Novak for his leadership.

Pharmasset : The Princeton, N.J.-based pharmaceutical company "struck gold" with a drug used to treat viral infections, Cramer said. He likes this stock.

Annaly Capital Management : CEO Michael A. J. Farrell will lead his company through "anything," Cramer said. He's a buyer of NLY.

Aegean Marine Petroleum Network : Cramer would avoid this stock right now.

Allscripts Healthcare Solutions : "Anything keeping the cost of health care down is a win," Cramer said.

When this story was published, Cramer's charitable trust owned EMC.
