Warner Music Group intends to sell the entire company, rather than parts of its business, reported The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday.

The company announced its decision to bidders Wednesday, after several bids were placed for the entire company — which is valued at $1.1 billion — according to sources familiar with the matter.

Warner Music declined to comment on the matter, but a source said the company may reopen bidding for parts of the company after evaluating bids for the whole company. Get real-time Warner Music quotes here.
