A Secular Growth Name Worth Considering

On Friday, Cramer recommended home gamers buy DuPont shares at current levels.

The Wilmington, Del.-based chemical company has been in business for nearly 200 years, Cramer said. Most large companies stagnate, especially as they grow older, but DuPont has been able to re-invent itself.

"DuPont has gone from a cyclical business hostage to the vicissitudes of the U.S. economy to a secular growth company that’s profiting from huge global megatrends," Cramer explained. "That’s why I think it’s a buy and why I think every big conglomerate that might be in your portfolio should be judged against the DuPont standard."
