Pops & Drops: Walgreen, Boston Scientific, Walt Disney and More
Producer
On Friday, the "Fast Money" traders discussed the market movers that caught their eye this week.
POPS (stocks that went higher this week)
Walgreen (WAG) popped 6%: The drugstore chain operator raised its dividend for the 36th consecutive year, Veracruz founder Steve Cortes said. Cortes said he likes dividend paying stocks in general, adding lower gas prices should help retailers, including drugstores.
PowerShares DB USD Index Bullish (UUP) popped 1%: Given the European debt crisis, Gary Kaminsky thinks the dollar should continue to benefit.
DROPS (stocks that went lower this week)
Boston Scientific (BSX) dropped 11%: The medical instruments and supplies company is struggling, Stuart Frankel's Steve Grasso said. He would stay away from this stock.
Walt Disney (DIS) dropped 4%: This stock struggled after the entertainment giant reported disappointing earnings earlier this week, author Stephen Weiss said. Should shares fall to the $36 to $38 level, Weiss would buy shares.
