6 Stocks to Own Into Next Week: Pros

These are some stocks that investors should consider owning ahead of next week, according to Zahid Siddique, associate portfolio manager at Gabelli Equity Trust, and Frederic Dickson, senior vice president and chief investment strategist at D.A. Davidson & Co.

“We’re going to be in a trading range through mid-year, dip a little bit this summer—but pick up again at year-end, [where] the markets will close 4-5 percent higher,” Dickson told CNBC.

“So we’re generally bullish on the markets, but we want solid, dividend-growth places.”

Dickson said he also looks for companies that have delivered strong earnings in the first quarter. (Scroll down for his full picks.)

In the meantime, Siddique said he likes companies that have “favorable fundamentals,” pointing toward the aerospace, transportation and energy sectors.

“We think these industries over the long-term will do well,” he commented.
