Halftime: KISS Language Barriers Goodbye
Producer
![]() |
Any investor who even thinks about putting money to work oversees won’t want to miss this. It's a new real-time social media language translation service called Ortsbo, and you’ll never guess who’s involved — KISS frontman and reality television star Gene Simmons.
The entertainer is also an entrepreneur. Not only is he a master merchandiser of the KISS brand, he’s now a partner in Ortsbo. Simmons said the service enables anyone in the world to speak with anyone, at anytime, in any language instantaneously. It works with about thirteen social media platforms and what’s more, it’s free.
“It will be fantastic for the Street, business, the U.N., education, our proud military,” Simmons said. “Imagine landing someplace and having the biggest barrier, which is the tower Babel itself, it’s finally come tumbling down and Ortsbo is the tool that just broke it down. No more language barriers.”
And his entrepreneurial arm reaches beyond the online translation business. He’s also co-founder of Cool Springs Life Equity Strategy. Simmons said it's not a traditional life insurance company, but an estate plan strategy for high net worth individuals.
