Cramer is finding out if a stock that makes metals stronger is a solid spec, with Kevin Loughrey, Thompson Creek Metals chairman & CEO.

If you are looking for a long-term speculative stock, Thompson Creek Metals may be worth looking at, Cramer said Tuesday.

The “Mad Money” host warned viewers that this is a “super speculative” stock. And because it is a commodity producer, it will not work if commodity prices get crushed.

Thomas Creek Metals is the fifth largest producer of Molybednum and just added copper and gold to its roster, after purchasing Terrane Metals last year. Cramer said its Mount Milligan copper and gold mine should lead to a major revenue increase when it starts up in the fourth quarter of 2013. That means home gamers have plenty of time to do their homework.

“When you’re speculating,” Cramer cautioned, “you've got to be patient and wait for the right price.”
