Cramer: Wrong Time to Own Tech

IBM and Apple may have both reported blowout quarters, but that doesn’t mean it’s the time is right to own tech stocks, Cramer said Tuesday.

In fact, the “Mad Money” host said it is simply the wrong time to own tech because the sector is hostage to seasonality.

“Historically, owning a ton of tech during the third quarter can be a recipe for disaster,” he said, “and over the summer you just want as little in your portfolio as possible.”

But Cramer feared people wouldn’t believe him after seeing Apple and IBM report such great numbers, so he went “Off the Charts” to explain why. Watch the video to see his full report!
