Dollar Slips, Poland Talks Tough

The dollar is set to slide, and Poland's finance minister says the euro's on the edge — it's time for your FX Fix.

The dollar slipped, but just a bit, after Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke's slight optimism on Friday. [CNBC]

If its slide resumes, as some expect, the dollar's move will put pressure on the yen and Swiss franc. [WSJ]

The Canadian dollar hit a three-week high against the dollar on optimism about the U.S. economy. [Reuters]

China's yuan hit an all-time high against the dollar Monday as the central bank set a new reference rate. [WSJ]

Poland's finance minister says "European elites" (translation: Germans) have to decide if they want the euro to survive, or if the euro zone should be dismantled. [forexnews.com]
