What Cramer's Watching Thursday

Wednesday, 14 Sep 2011 | 7:57 PM ET

Cramer has a few earnings on his radar screen for Thursday, September 15.

First on his list is Pier 1 Imports, which reports before the open Thursday. Calling it “one of the most important stocks we follow,” Cramer said Pier 1 has been an amazing performer since the 2009 bottom and he thinks that will continue.

After the closing bell, Research in Motion will announce its earnings. RIMM is dying a slow death at the hands of Apple’s iPhone, Cramer said, but he expects the company to say things will get better.

“That might actually cause Apple to go down, giving us still one more Research in Motion inspired buy moment for the stock of the best company in America,” he said.

Cramer also plans to watch Diamond Foods, which reports after the close. He’s curious to see if this “phenomenal performer” can once again exceed expectations.
