According to top hedge fund manager Anthony Scaramucci, proprietary research from Skybridge suggests the economy is in trouble.

In a live interview on CNBC'S Fast Money, Scaramucci says, "There’s now a greater than 75% chance that we’ll be in recession by the first quarter of 2012.”

And as a result he thinks the stock market is challenged.

”That suggests a reduction in equity prices between 15-20%. Not much we can do to stave that off,” he says.

So are hedge funds better hedged against a downturn than they were in 2008? Scaramucci addresses that issue too. Get all the details here. Watch the video now!
