Matt Piscitelli considers himself a serial entrepreneur. After attending Northeastern University Graduate School, he launched a home respiratory health care business from the ground up. Four years later, he sold the business to a publicly traded company. After the sale, he was looking for another business that was open to innovative thinking with the potential for solid growth. He considered several new business opportunities, and then set his sights on Olson’s Greenhouses as his next venture. Olson’s presented the challenges of a management turnaround and the modernization of a growing facility. With Clive Olson, his business partner, he found a new, lower cost, environmentally sound source of fuel, upgraded the greenhouses, added growing space and opened a second retail garden center. Future plans include expansion of the certified organic greens and herbs business. Matt lives with his wife and two sons in Bridgewater, MA.
