Biggest 3-Week Stock Rally in Over 2 Years

U.S. stocks rose for the third consecutive week, posting the largest 3-week percent increase since July 2009.

The S&P 500 is up 9.44 percent so far this month, led by energy, materials and consumer discretionary companies.

Similarly, the Dow rose for the fourth consecutive week, up 9.63 percent during that period, and its best performance since August 2009.

The NASDAQ Composite fell 1.14 percent this week, halting two previous weeks of gains, but still trading up 9.2 percent month-to-date.

The table below highlights the best performing stocks in the top three S&P sectors month-to-date.
