Check out the shocking rise in popularity of targeting nominal gross domestic product (NGDP).
This is from the Kauffman poll of econobloggers, so it's hardly representative of economists or the general public.
But a year ago, I'd say that hardly anyone had ever heard of NGDP targeting. Now it's got plurality of support among the econobloggers.
Probably too soon to call a bubble in NGDP, though.
