Pops & Drops: NVIDIA, E*Trade and More

The following are some of the mid-day’s biggest movers. Find out what’s going up, what’s going down and whether our traders would double down, fade or run in the other direction!

The Mover: NVIDIA (NVDA) popped 3%.
Trader Comment: For a company that keeps “blowing away” earnings and that has been saying it sees positive long-term trends, being up 3 percent on a risk-on day is pretty underperforming, Zach Karabell said.

The Mover: E*Trade (ETFC) dropped 4%.
Trader Comment: There are so many better places to be, Josh Brown said. He would avoid them.

The Mover: Dillard’s (DDS) dropped 9%.
Trader Comment: I’d stay away, Brian Kelly said.

The Mover: AK Steel Holdings (AKS) dropped 4%.
Trader Comment: Grasso is still long AK Steel and will stay long going into year end. It’s up 64 percent since the beginning of October, so be careful here, he added. When the risk trade is on, AKS outperforms the market incredibly.
