According to The Wall Street Journal, the smaller the company, the more it costs to hire an employee.

The House passed legislation late today that will make federal regulators consider impact of government regulations on small business, reports The Washington Post.

Small businesses upped their borrowing in October, reports Reuters, noting a 20 percent increase over September.

Steve Case, AOL founder, is bullish on D.C. His Revolution Growth Fund is investing $450 million to create a start-up hub in the district, reports the Atlantic.
