Tuesday, 6 Dec 2011 | 6:34 PM ET

With Wall Street rising on optimism European leaders may take strong steps this week to solve the region’s debt crisis, Cramer fears investors may have become a little too complacent. So on Tuesday, he went “Off the Charts” to examine the CBOE Market Volatility index or “fear gauge.”

Off the Charts: VIX
Mad Money's Jim Cramer eyes the charts to get a read on the volatility index, as interpreted by Mark Sebastian, OptionPit.com technician.

To look at the VIX, Cramer sought the help of Mark Sebastian, a highly regarded technician on Wall Street. Watch the video to see the full report.
