Here's a look at stocks in the S&P 1,500 index [.SPSUP  Loading...      ()   ] displaying unusual volume in Wednesday's trading session.

S&P 500: Trading volume in CA [CA  Loading...      ()   ] is up 300 percent over its 10-day average, after the business-software maker raised its annual dividend fivefold to $1 per share.

S&P MidCap 400: Rock Tenn [RKT  Loading...      ()   ] volume jumped 250 percent over its 10-day average, as the manufacturer of packaging products reported first-quarter-earnings below expectations.

S&P SmallCap 600: Piper Jaffray [PJC  Loading...      ()   ] volume rose nearly 400 percent over its 10-day average, following a dissapointing earnings report from the investment bank.
