United Offers Auctions for Golf Experiences

If you're watching the Masters golf tournament which got underway Thursday at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia and dreaming about attending a future golfing event, United Airlines has a program to make your wish come true.
In January 2012, United introduced "MileagePlus Headliners" giving its frequent flyers the ability to use their hard-earned miles in new and unique ways. Members can bid their miles in online auctions for a host of experiences, including once in a lifetime trips, airline adventures and tickets for theater and sporting events.
As United is the official airline of the PGA Tour, they can offer tickets and special privileges at golf tournaments around the country. There are presently a couple of active auctions for upcoming events for as few as 5,000 miles.

I've noticed United has been pretty active in updating the auctions since the program launched. It's always worth a look once in a while to see if something new has been added.
