Daimler & BYD DENZA

The DENZA (pictured) is Daimler and BYD's first ever-combined effort in the electric vehicle space with the name signifying "rising momentum and power."

It's been two years since the German and Chinese manufacturers joined hands to introduce a new model and this battery charged car is due for production next year. Targeted specifically at the Chinese market, the DENZA will probably go some way in satisfying China’s demand for green credentials. The government has sent an ambitious goal of putting 500,000 hybrid and electric vehicles on the roads by the end of 2015 — giving China the potential of becoming one of the world’s largest markets for zero-emissions vehicles.
