The Cloud Is Going to Be Huge: Winklevoss Twins

Cloud computing is the next big thing, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, of Winklevoss Capital Partners, told CNBC on Squawk Box.

"We think the cloud is going to be huge, it already is," Tyler said.

The Winklevoss twins are widely known for their role in the founding of Facebook, but these days the twins work to grow small start-ups with angel investments and the two especially like cloud computing companies.

However, with so many cloud start-ups in the space, it's important to find a company that is truly different before investing, Cameron said.

"I think the key is a company that is taking a unique or innovative approach to it or shifting the paradigm...Then, also, it's definitely the team behind it. You have to look at the people that are behind the product, who they are, what their background is, do they have a track record of success?" Cameron said

YottaByte, a cloud storage start-up, is one potential investment for the Winklevoss firm, Cameron said.
