Theodore W. Ullyot: Facebook IPO
Bio
Facebook's general counsel since 2008, Ullyot handles complex legal issues such as user privacy and intellectual property. He was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis and previously served as general counsel of AOL Time Warner and ESL Investments. Ullyot also worked in the George W. Bush administration as chief of staff for Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. As deputy assistant to the president, he helped coordinate the response to the investigation into the leak of CIA operative Valerie Plame's identity. His government experience also includes a stint as a law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and for Judge J. Michael Luttig of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
