Owens-Corning CEO: 'Our Confidence is Good'
Michael Thaman, chairman & CEO of Owens-Corning, shares his confidence level given the latest housing data and continued uncertainty in Europe. "Our confidence is good," he tells Mad Money host Jim Cramer.

Europe’s debt crisis continues to weigh on U.S. stocks, but “Mad Money” host Jim Cramer said there are several themes that are still working, such as the rebound in housing.

From improved existing home sales to strong earnings results from homebuilders, several bullish data points for housing have been reported lately. In turn, Cramer thinks investors should consider building materials companies, such as Owens Corning. It gets 64 percent of its sales from building materials, like roofing shingles and insulation.

Curiously, though, Owens Corning's stock has lagged while most homebuilding-related stocks have rallied hard. Its latest quarter was tough, too. But if housing is turning around, Cramer thinks this stock should eventually push higher.

So to learn more about its prospects, Cramer welcomed Mike Thaman, chairman and CEO of Owens Corning, onto Tuesday’s show. Watch the video to see the full interview.
