26 Dow Components Now Yield More Than 10-Year Note

Twenty-six of the 30 Dow components now have dividend yields greater than the 10-year U.S. treasury note, which currently pays a record low 1.65 percent.

The average dividend yield of the Dow stands at 2.89 percent, down 22 basis points since the beginning of the year.

And in the past five months, 18 Dow components announced dividend increases, including companies such as Chevron, JPMorgan and IBM.

Here is a look at the highest yielding stocks in the Dow . AT&T and Verizon continue to lead the list.
