Meridee Moore, Founder and Chief Investment Officer, Watershed Asset Management, L.L.C.

Meridee A. Moore founded San Francisco-based WatershedAsset Management LLCin 2002, and holds the posts of senior managing member and chief investment officer at the hedge fund.

Prior to Watershed, she was a managing member of Farallon Capital Management LLC and Farallon Partners LLC, where she was responsible for investments in distressed credit, liquidations, real estate, special situations and debt and equity investments in Japan.

Earlier in her career, Moore was a senior vice president in Lehman Brothers’ investment banking division in the new financing products and corporate finance departments, and a corporate law associate in New York for Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.

Moore received her J.D. from the Yale Law School. She graduated summa cum laude in philosophy and magna cum laude in general studies from the University of Colorado, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and was voted most outstanding graduate in the School of Arts and Sciences.
