Stocks to Watch: SNE, ARO, OMX & More

Take a look at some of Thursday's midday movers:

Sony - Sony lost ground after its losses grew and it lowered its full-year earnings forecast.

Aeropostale - Aeropostale plummeted after the teen retailer cut its 2012 forecast.

Office Max - Office Max gained ground after the office supplies chain posted better-than-expected earnings. It also reinstated its dividend.

Sealed Air - Its shares fell to a three-year low as second-quarter earnings came in below expectations. The maker of bubble wrap also cut its 2012 profit forecast.

Genpact - Genpact shares hit a two-year high after Bain Capital bought a 30 percent stake in the company for a billion dollars, or $14.76 a share.

Apache - Apache lost ground after it reported weaker-than-expected earnings on lower natural gas prices.

Bristol-Myers - Bristol-Myers moved lower after one of its executives, Robert Ramnarine, was charged with insider trading. Earlier, its stock was pressured when it suspended trials of its hepatitis C drug. Rival Gilead moved up on that news.

Hornbeck Offshore - Hornbeck slumped after it reported weaker-than-expected second-quarter earnings. The oilfield services provider said it expects drilling activity in the Gulf of Mexico to continue to be impacted by bureaucratic delays.

Wright Medical - Its shares rose after the orthopedic medical device maker reported strong earnings.

Weight Watchers - The company's shares fell after it slashed its full-year profit forecast. Its second-quarter sales were pressured by a drop in the number of people attending its meetings.

Avis - Avis shares jumped after it reported a 52 percent profit in second-quarter net income.
