Cramer's Talking With Avnet CEO After Earnings
Rick Hamada, Avnet CEO, discusses his company's weaker-than-expected earnings report, its financial strategy going forward, and strong profits from Asia.

On Wednesday, Jim Cramer wanted to take the temperature of the technology sector.

After all, Cramer noted the tech sector has rallied nicely lately. The Nasdaq, which is greatly weighted toward tech, is well above the 3,000 level right now.

So to look at just how tech is doing, Cramer looked to Avnet. The Phoenix-based company is the world’s largest based distributor of electric components, as well as a big distributor of information technology software.
