Airlines Expand Travel Waivers Amid Isaac Storm

With more than 1,000 flights already cancelled, airlines are issuing travel waivers for cities impacted by Tropical Storm Isaac.

Initially released only for cities in Florida, most U.S. airlines have now extended the waivers — which allow for penalty-free flight changes — to cities in the Gulf Coast states of Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.

And as the storm progresses inland later in the week, the waivers may be extended to other airports on the East Coast.

Before heading to the airport, it's always wise to check with your airline for delays or cancellations, and your options for rebooking. Here's a list of current waiver information by airline. (More: Isaac Heads for Gulf Coast, Hurricane Warning Issued.)
