Yahoo's CEO Marissa Mayer has given birth to a baby boy, according to a tweet from her husband Zach Bogue posted Monday morning.

Mayer, 37, gave birth Sunday night, the tweet said. The baby's name and weight wasn't immediately announced.

Mayer's pregnancy was revealed when it was announced in July that she would become Yahoo's CEO.

The former Google executive also said she plans to take a few weeks off work.

Mayer, is the third person to be appointed as the CEO of Yahoo this year. She replaced the company's interim CEO Ross Levinsohn.
