Midday Movers: PCS, S, NFLX & More

Metro PCS was lower following reports that Sprint was considering making a counter-bid for the pre-paid wireless carriers.

Netflix rose for the fourth straight session. On Wednesday, Citi said customer satisfaction was improving for the company.

Coal stocks, including Arch Coal, Alpha NaturalResources, Peabody Energy and ConsolidatedEnergy all moved higher following comments by Mitt Romney at the Presidential debate in which he told President Obama, “I like coal."

Google hit another record high. The search-engine giant warned of more cutsin its money-losing Motorola Mobility mobile phone unit.

Informatica plummeted after the data integration software maker reported weaker-than-expected earnings, due in part to disappointing results in Europe.

Thor Industries jumped after Wedbush raised its rating on the firm to "outperform" from "neutral."

Berry Plastics fell on its first day of trading on Wall Street.

Ryder gained ground after SunTrust upgraded the company to "buy" from "neutral."

Ebay moved higher after Nomura upgraded the company to "buy" from "neutral."
