What are some of the biggest areas of stress for business travelers?

Lost luggage and no Internet connection top the list, according to a new survey by Carlson Wagonlit Travel, a global consulting company.

Based on responses from 6,000 business travelers from nine global companies, CWT found business-travel anxieties fall under three key buckets: lost time, surprises and events that disrupt daily habits and routines.

"The study found that business travelers were most stressed by losing time during their journey, with the highest triggers of stress being lost or delayed luggage, poor Internet connection, flying economy on a long-haul flight and flight delays," CWT said.

Other findings:

  • Women report higher stress levels than men.
  • Senior executives report higher stress levels.
