Apple Will Reveal More Than Just Smaller iPad at Event: Report

Apple will be unveiling a smaller MacBook Pro with Retina Display this month at an event where it will reveal a downsized iPad, according to a report.

All Things D is reporting that the company will be showing off a 13-inch version of the MacBook Pro. At the same event on Oct. 23, Apple will showcase the smaller iPad.

Currently, the MacBook Pro with Retina Display is available in a 15-inch model. The MacBook Pro that does not feature Retina Display is available in a 15-inch and 13-inch model.

The website 9to5Mac originally reported the expected event date. Apple has not announced a date or location.
