Cramer couldn't visit Ohio without profiling the company behind one of his favorite dividend yielders.

That's Ohio based utility, American Electric Power, which owns the largest electrical transmission system in the country and is one of the nation's top power generators.

"I like this company because it pays you a bountiful 4.14% yield, and over the summer the Ohio Public Utility Commission gave them permission to raise rates through 2015."

"AEP is a poster-child for the migration from coal to natural gas—it's shutting down a number of coal plants as part of its plans to comply with new environmental regulations, including one right here in Ohio although its coal roots run deep. And an aggressive EPA is perhaps the biggest risk to the company's earnings," said Cramer.

What else must you know about this company? Check out Cramer's interview with Nick Akins, President and CEO of American Electric Power.
