There are dozens, probably scores, of live webcams where you can watch the effects of Hurricane Sandy.

Zachary Seward at Quartz has put together a comprehensive list of webcams placed near where Sandy is making landfall. A lot of the cams seem to be down, perhaps because of heavy traffic.
