Midday Movers: BAX, RIMM, HAS & More

Take a look at some of Friday's midday movers:

Baxter rallied on a Wall Street Journal report that it's in talks to buy Sweden's medical equipment maker Gambro or $4 billion.

Research in Motion moved higher on continued optimism over its soon to be relaunched Blackberry 10.

Hasbro rose on optimism its new Furby doll will be a breakout toy this year.

Molycorp moved higher in the first day of trading since two company insiders increased their stake in the rare earth producer.

Illumina gained ground on continued takeover speculation.

Wal-Mart rallied after reporting its best Black Friday events ever. Other retailers, including Macy's, Nordstrom and Target moved higher as well.

Map Pharmaceuticals rose after the FDA accepted its resubmission of its migraine drug treatment.

Kit Digital plummeted after saying it would restate its earnings results from 2009 to 2012.

Orient Express Hotels moved higher on speculation Indian Hotels would raise its bid for the company.

BP gained ground. The oil company is planning to announce a reorganization of its oil and gas operations.
