    NEW YORK-- Sonic Corp. said Tuesday that its net income rose 18 percent in its fiscal fourth quarter despite a slight drop in revenue, partly because of lower sales at company drive-in restaurants. The Oklahoma City company's results beat Wall Street expectations and its shares rose nearly 3 percent in after-hours trading.

    OKLAHOMA CITY-- Oklahoma-based Devon Energy Corp. says it will close its office in Houston and transfer operations to Oklahoma City. The oil and gas company has about 500 employees in its Houston office, which now serves as the operations center for Devon's oil and natural gas fields in south and east Texas and Louisiana.

    NEW YORK, Oct 10- A lawsuit claiming oil price manipulation by Arcadia Petroleum, Parnon Energy and two oil traders in early 2008 had no factual support, a lawyer for the defendants told a judge on Wednesday, but their accusers cited a potentially damaging email.
