Torgrim Reitan, Statoil

Torgrim Reitan is the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Statoil ASA.

Reitan has previously held several managerial positions in Statoil, including the positions as senior vice president for trading and operations in natural gas, senior vice president for performance management and analysis, and senior vice president for performance management, tax and M&A.

He holds a Master of science degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.

Statoil is an integrated, technology-based international energy company primarily focused on upstream oil and gas operations. Headquartered in Norway, the company has operations in 34 countries and around 23,000 employees worldwide. Statoil is listed on the New York and Oslo stock exchanges.

Statoil's CFO organisation is the corporate staff unit accountable for the finance and control function, the corporate IT function, the corporate risk function as well as the internal service provider for global business support. The CFO organisation is also accountable for management of insurance as well as financial and tax assets and liabilities in Statoil.
