I'm not sure if you know this but oil tycoon Boone Pickens (net worth: $2.7 billion) made the largest donation in sports booster history when he donated a whopping $165 million to Oklahoma State's athletics department, and what's unbelievable is that Pickens – whose name is on the football stadium, told me a few weeks back when he was coming off the "Squawk Box" set that the athletic department invested the money with his $4 billion hedge fund, BP Capital, and the fund grew 25 percent this year. Talk about an unfair advantage! Not that the Cowboys needed it. They've racked up 48 NCAA national championships in their history – that's the fourth most behind Stanford, USC and UCLA. Of course, if they lose the Bedlam Series – they're annual series with Oklahoma – as they did this weekend (27-21), nothing else matters.
