Alexandra Patsavas is music supervisor for The O.C. and Grey's Anatomy. A Grammy winner for Season Two of the hit nighttime medical soap-opera, Patsavas is credited with building synergy between Grey's (aired on Walt Disney's ABC network) and the bands it features -- an attraction in themselves.

"Chasing Cars" -- used during Denny's tragic death scene -- was the No. 1 downloaded song on Apple Computer's iTunes the day after the three-hankie Grey's episode aired. The song was then quickly embraced by radio stations & Viacom's MTV -- the reverse of the usual process of musical success.

Patsavas created, especially for CNBC.com, an exclusive, customized songlist:

"All The Money Or The Simple Life Honey" - The Dandy Warhols
"Cash Machine" - Hard-Fi
"Heart Of Gold" - Neil Young
"Money" - Peter Bjorn & John
"Money Maker" - Ludacris
"Money To Burn" - Richard Ashcroft
"Powerlines" -  The Western States Motel
"Push" - Pharoahe Monch
"Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is" - Jet
"Spend My Money" - The Ettes
"Stacks O' Money" - Eagles Of Death Metal
