Your Questions About Investing in Brazil & Banks

Question #1:
Erin from New York wants to know about Barclay's (BCS) acquisition of banking group ABN AMRO (ABN), and if there will be more global consolidation in the banking sector.

Karen Finerman says the ABN deal isn’t done, and maybe it will go through or maybe it won’t.  Karen turns her attention to banks in the U.S. She likes Bank of America (BAC) and Citigroup (C ) because these names give investors premiere, world class franchises for not a lot of money.

Question #2:
Tim from Massachusetts owns IShares MSCI Brazil Index ETF (EWZ) and wants to know about the long term potential for emerging markets and if the risks outweigh the potential payoff in these markets?

Eric Bolling says 43% of EWZ is in natural resources and Eric likes that. It’s heavy in iron ore, soybeans and coffee beans, 3 strong areas according to Eric and he recommends sticking with it.
